Will Schneider is a writer/director born and based in the city of Chicago, IL. His films involve realistic characters at the ends of their ropes, often veering towards dark drama. His work has screened in prestigious festivals like the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts, FilmQuest, and Chicago Underground. He recently received his MFA in Film Directing from DePaul University’s School of the Cinematic Arts and was a Quarterfinalist for the 2023 Academy Nicholl Fellowships.
